What you spend your money on is ultimately where you are voting due to corporate funding of politicians and government. The actual act of voting has become a controversy in the sense that no matter what side you vote for, you are forced to concede part of your beliefs and values. Some call this voting for the lesser of two evils. Its not to say that you should not vote, but to say that our money is speaking louder than our votes at this time.

Our country does not have to be this way. By combining all the problems together and finding fewer solutions that combat more problems at once, we can change the direction of this country through true democracy. Spending less towards corporations that do not support a cleaner environment as well as social and animal rights should be boycotted. Switching to companies that demonstrate action towards a better future can increase the momentum towards a direction we are looking for. True democracy is using the power of each individual towards actions that benefit the country and world. Please use your time to start researching and investigating the products and services you give your hard earned dollars towards and see if you can't find other companies that offer quality products that support equality of life, a cleaner environment, and an attitude of looking for better solutions.
